Tomey is the football coach I measure his successors by. None have matched up. I'm still angry at the boosters that chased him out of town.

1st and foremost, RIP Coach Tomey, and thank you for all of your hard work in Tucson.

To oouchh - It's funny you mention his untimely exit, as I was a student during Coach Tomey's final year. The players I knew were not happy with the decision to move on, and there was actually a mutiny against Coach Mackovic.

Interesting read regarding said mutiny: http://www.espn.com/college-football...uce&id=1654694

All coach Tomey did in Tucson was have the best over record in the Pac-10 and rarely (maybe never) have a student in trouble.
