Am I missing something? ASSU is only 6 SOS spots behind us...yet we played the EXACT same conference schedule...and their NCSOS is 70 spots lower?

NCSOS - Non conference strength of schedule - thus the difference

I got that...but don't know how we played 70 spots tougher in the non-con schedule...and we're still only SIX spots ahead of them in overall SOS.

According to KenPom, it looks like there's no benefit to playing a hard NCSOS...

Nice that ASSU barely slipped in the AP rankings this week. Should give us another win VS a ranked opponent!

Not the exact same conference schedule. We had to play a shitty team from Tempe that makes the tournament once every 5 years and then loses their first game, while ASU got to play one of the top 10 programs in the country.

Not true. They made the Sweet 16 in 1995!

Little sloppy, but the defense was pretty good considering the fact that Hurley's offense can be dangerous.

Despite a poor offensive outing from Rawle, the Cats pulled off a big sweep!

I was so nervous about this game. I have never been happier about being so wrong! Way to go Cats.

I think Bobby Hurley has some serious psychological issues. That guy has "gonna be tazed by the cops at some point in his life" written all over him when he starts to lose it.

I'm actually glad they didn't give Bobby a technical. It was so obvious he wanted one, and the ref wasn't going to entertain his whining. It is kind of like a kid throwing a fit in a store to get attention, and the parent just ignores the kid. Ignoring Bobby was the biggest FU the ref could have given him.

You make a good point but good grief his antics wear thin.

                                        Yes

I love the fact that he his under the impression that if he holds his hands behind back, that everyone will think he is under control.

I also loved Herm Edwards’ passion for the Chiefs...while he coached us to 26 losses during his final two years in KC.

I hope they love passionate losses in Tempee
